If you always thought there were only two kinds of boobs—big or small—your mind is about to be blown. According to bra company ThirdLove, women have one of seven different sets of boobs! That’s a lot of different boobs and it’s also why we take boob tape seriously here at Perky Pear HQ!
Asymmetric: One breast is larger than the other; ranges from minor (barely noticeable) to more pronounced (as pictured).
(Perky Tip: As our tape holds your breasts down it does minimise larger breasts and as the breast is pushed down you get a rounded effect which makes smaller breasts appear larger/ fuller so your breasts should end up looking more symmetrical) MAGIC!
Bell Shape: Generally heavier breasts; narrower at the top, then drastically fuller toward the bottom.
(Perky Tip: Breasts like these are usually very full and heavy. That’s OK though as our tape supports heavy breasts! If they are very full but lack consistency making them spill out the sides of the tape, try squeezing the breast in as you apply the tape)
East West: A gentle slope from top to bottom, but out to the sides; nipples point in opposite directions.
(Perky Tip: Our tape will make these breasts appear rounder. Always cup the breast and push up with your hand that’s supporting the breast when applying your tape for optimal lift and shaping!)
Side Set: A wide space in between the two breasts; nipples point a little more forward than East West.
(Perky tip: If you want your boobs to come together more then hold your boob/ push the breast further into the middle off the chest when applying Perky Pear original lift & shape tape)
Slender: A little wider at the top, narrower at the bottom; generally skinny without a lot of breast tissue.
(Perky Tip: Our Perky Pear original lift & shape tape fully cups the breasts giving them lift but also pushes them down to achieve that rounded look making slender breasts appear fuller! A bit like a corset. Our tape is literally shape wear for your boobs!)
Tear Drop: Similar to Bell Shape but with a much gentler slope; easily identifiable from the side.
Round: Equally full on top and bottom; often surgically enhanced, but not always.
